Maria's Date

Now that things are opening up again, the local dating scene is getting back to its feet as well. Maria had some really unfortunate timing with when she moved here, and hasn't had a chance to meet many people in the last year.

She's found three interesting options on the app, though, and she asked me who I think she should try and schedule a date with. What should I tell her? Let me know in the comments.

Better Luck Next Time

I got this one down a couple months ago, but I didn't get a chance to touch it up until now.

I happened to see that girl who Pietro helped to educate a while ago back in September again later in the fall. She seemed to have really, really liked what she saw back then, because she was strutting around that dockside bar just DARING guys to give her attitude. She eventually succeeded in baiting one, and went for her hairbrush just a little too eagerly. And, well, he took her out onto the back deck, where it turned out she still had a lot to learn about dominance!

Hopefully this setback doesn't discourage her from giving it another try sometime. Finishing this drawing reminds me that I do know where her sister lives, at least. Maybe I should stop by and ask how things have been since?

Unfinished Business

The day after the beach officially closed down, a certain lifeguard-evading, cell-phone-recording young man thought it would be safe to enjoy the last of the early autumn sun. Turns out, he wasn't the only one.

Running Too Hot

I was as surprised as anyone else at Sunday morning's turn of events!

No one's ever accused Jill of lacking enthusiasm, for her job or anything else she does for that matter, but I guess she isn't always at her most attentive. In chasing a certain rule-breaking miscreant across the sand that morning, she literally stumbled into a reminder of why rules against running exist in the first place.

I guess it's lucky for her that that boy's drink wasn't super expensive, or I don't think he'd have let her off with just a hand spanking. On the other hand...I haven't quite had the heart to tell her yet about the aforementioned rulebreaker turning around to see the show, or about my not being the only one to record the event for posterity's sake. Well, it's not like there's going to be any future repercussions of that, right?

Speaking of the future though, I'd tread veeeeery lightly on the beach for this next week or two. It might be a while before Jill is in a lenient or forgiving mood after this.
