With people out and about again, Miranda's back on task in her quest for dominance over those of the heterogenous sex chromosomes. She met what seemed like a perfect practice conquest at the arcade; cute, compliant, and seemingly new to town and not yet up on the local culture.
She put her sister's lessons to good use, wrapping the new boy around her finger and getting him to agree to an arcade game competition with unspecified stakes, on the glitchy machine that she knew how to take advantage of. But, it turned out he wasn't there alone.
Ellie's pretty protective of her visiting little brother, and pretty good at seeing through scams. Also, Miranda kinda left her hairbrush poking out of her bag where Ellie could spot and snatch it. Judging from the sounds that came from the back room that arcades have, that's one hell of a hairbrush Miranda's packing, and after today she might be rethinking her choice in grooming accessories.
