Our new neighborhood electrician had a lucky break later that day. A pair of gymgoers approached her after she finished the wiring work, and offered to give her a hand with her new problem as soon as she was off of work. Maria brushed them off at first, but she must have really been suffering going through the rest of her workday with her cheeks in that state, because she came around by the evening.
Ellie and Mamta took her over to Ellie's, and spend the evening melting snow on Diane's latest handiwork out by the hot tub. Ellie and Maria have some new girl solidarity going on, and Mamta, well...sometimes virtue is its own reward.
